Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [Operating Entity] ("Psychic Junkie," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of psychicjunkie.net and the related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, adding funds, or starting a reading, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund and Satisfaction Guarantee. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is for adults only. By using Psychic Junkie you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. We may ask for a date of birth or other information to confirm your age, and we may suspend or close any account we believe belongs to a minor. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Readings offered through Psychic Junkie are provided for entertainment and personal reflection. They are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other licensed advice. Nothing said in a reading is a guarantee of any outcome, result, or future event. You are solely responsible for the choices you make. If you have a medical, legal, financial, or mental health concern, please consult a qualified licensed professional.

To use most features you create an account and register with a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use.

One account per person. You may not share an account, create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or the satisfaction guarantee, or register on behalf of someone else without authority. We may decline, suspend, or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

Readings are paid for from a prepaid wallet balance that you fund in advance. You add funds (a "top-up") by card through our payment processor. The minimum top-up is $15 and the maximum is $5,000 per top-up. We may apply reasonable limits on how often or how much you can add over a period of time to help prevent fraud.

• Per-minute billing. Each advisor sets a per-minute rate, shown before you begin. Paid readings are metered and billed by the minute (and partial minutes) against your wallet balance. The billing clock is measured on our servers, not your device.
• Minimum balance to start. You need a qualifying wallet balance (at the time of writing, more than $15) to start a live reading or hold a queue spot, so that a reading does not begin without enough funds to run.
• Running out of funds. A live session ends automatically when your balance is exhausted. Shortly before that, we show a low-balance prompt so you can add funds and keep going.
• QuickBuy. During a session you may use QuickBuy to add funds quickly (for example, when about one minute of balance remains) so the reading can continue without interruption.

Wallet funds are stored as a balance you can spend on the Service. For details on refunds, credits, and whether funds expire, see our Refund and Satisfaction Guarantee.

Charges for top-ups and purchases are processed by our payment processor and will appear on your card or bank statement under the name of [Operating Entity], which may differ from "Psychic Junkie." We use a neutral billing descriptor for your privacy and discretion. By adding funds you authorize the charge for the amount shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes.

Chat readings produce a saved transcript that you can review later in your reading history. Where voice or video recording is enabled for a session, readings may be recorded for quality assurance, training, safety, and dispute resolution. Before a session that may be recorded, we show a consent notice; by starting that reading you consent to the recording for the purposes described here and in our Privacy Policy. Recording laws vary by location, and you are responsible for ensuring your participation is lawful where you are. If you do not consent to recording, do not start a session where recording is enabled.

Psychic Junkie is a marketplace that connects customers with independent advisors. Advisors are independent contractors, not our employees, agents, or representatives. We do not direct, control, or guarantee the content, accuracy, or quality of any reading. Views, predictions, and statements made by an advisor are their own. We are not responsible or liable for the content of readings or for any decision you make based on a reading.

You agree to keep your relationship with advisors on the Service. Do not solicit or arrange to pay an advisor off-platform, exchange personal contact or payment details to avoid the Service, or otherwise circumvent our billing.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• harass, threaten, abuse, defame, or harm an advisor, another user, or our staff;
• engage in fraud, chargeback abuse, money laundering, or any deceptive or illegal activity;
• solicit advisors off-platform or attempt to circumvent metering, billing, or these Terms;
• request or provide content that is unlawful, that exploits or endangers a minor, or that promotes violence or self-harm;
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to use, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
• scrape, copy, or reuse Service content except as expressly permitted.

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, limit, or terminate access to protect the Service and its community.

The Service, including its software, text, graphics, logos, the "Psychic Junkie" name, and the free tools we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law. Transcripts and recordings of your own readings are made available to you for personal use; advisors retain their own rights in their original expression as set out in their separate agreement with us.

The Service and all readings are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure, or that any reading will be accurate, reliable, or produce any particular result. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Psychic Junkie and [Operating Entity], and our officers, employees, advisors, and suppliers, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or any reading, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or twenty US dollars ($20). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Psychic Junkie, [Operating Entity], and our officers, employees, advisors, and suppliers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the Service that is not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in [State], unless applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing any formal claim, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. We may also add, change, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and its users. If your account is closed, any remaining withdrawable wallet balance is handled as described in our Refund and Satisfaction Guarantee. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
